See How They Run (2022)

  See How They Run is a really fun movie that I bet not a lot of people are going to see. WHICH IS A SHAME! Because as I said, it's fun! It is really refreshing to watch something a bit different, and this movie does a great job of poking fun at its own murder mystery genre. The two leads are great, their chemistry is brilliant and I especially couldn't get enough of Saoirse Ronan, she's brilliant in this and really carries the movie. It suffers a little from pacing at points, there's a definite lull before the third act and maybe a slightly tighter edit would have helped it in that regard. However it is a great homage to Agatha Christie style murder mysteries and honestly I won't be doing a spoiler bit because I want you, yes you whoever is reading this, to watch this at some point. Edinburgh Fringe Festival Special! (2022)

  So I have not been in the cinema much- because I've been spending a LOT of time at the fringe festival! I am a proper mad lad so decided to rank and review everything I've seen. Yeah this isn't particularly fair, I've seen a lot of works in progress, and some things are pure luck of the draw (improv groups aren't going to be consistent are they and every show they do is wildly different!) That being said, these rankings and reviews are based on my specific experience of each show. I won't be particularly mean or rude as a lot of these acts are people just having a bloody good go of it which I commend and support in full.
